Peter has practiced architecture for 37 years, 30 of them as the principal of his own firm. While listening to Pearl Jam or a Mariners game, he manages diverse projects ranging from commercial, academic, municipal, religious and community agency facilities to multi- and single-family residences. He has extensive experience with master planning, in addition to programming, construction administration and solar design.

Brandon is the newest member of our team. After practicing in California he returned to the Pacific Northwest, where he spent his childhood. Brandon's experience includes commercial, retail and single- and multi-family residential projects, from feasibility and early schematic design through construction. He is a talented painter and sculptor, and his work has been seen in galleries in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles and Long Beach. He's even a published poet.

Kathy, our dear friend and colleague, was tragically killed in an automobile accident in February 2006. Her presence is still strongly felt in our office. As a project architect, she designed and managed custom single- and multi-family residences, as well as commercial, retail, and recreational facilities. Her experience was as varied as her taste in music. Kathy had a wonderful eye for color and texture. Her renderings were things of beauty. When she was not drawing or sketching she could be found sailing and camping with her family. Kathy added so very much to the life of our office and the force of our projects.

If she's not organizing things at the office, Wendy can be found spending many hours with her three grandchildren. She enjoys hitting the ski slopes on a powder day, appreciating good theatre, traveling the world to meet people of differing cultures, and kayaking the waters of Puget Sound. Before joining her husband, Peter, as his office manager, Wendy spent eleven years as the client development and marketing director for one of Seattle's largest law firms. Her management experience includes client service and development, finance, public relations, communications and generally creating a work environment where everyone has fun!

How lucky we are to have Karen, and her baby daughter, working with us two days a week! Karen, who multi-tasks in an amazing fashion, juggles her baby, types architectural specifications, prepares reports, and greets everyone entering our office with a warm smile. She is an experienced customer service representative, having worked for a bank, a telephone company and a retail store. When not at the changing table, Karen can be found gardening, playing the piano, or singing harmony while her husband plays the guitar.
